Larry McEvoy lives in Billings, Montana, where he practices emergency medicine and has served several years as a physician executive.  Larry's expertise with the complex challenges of the healthcare industry has provided the ideal learning platform for his work on systems solutions which optimize the value of every part of your team.  Equally comfortable at the bedside, in the boardroom or in the horse corral, Larry brings unique skill in organizational development and strategic thinking to Itancan Roundpen.

Brandon Carpenter lives in Shepherd, Montana, where he is a fifth-generation Montanan who develops people in the art of horsemanship.  His techniques move the horse from its instinctive context of "herd," to a human context of uncommon enthusiasm, discipline, and performance.  By combining generations of equine learning with his own experience as a human "herd member" on many work teams, Brandon brings a unique perspective on the human workplace, one rising from the grassroots and integrated at the highest levels of leadership.

What can a horse teach you as a leader?

Horses have four characteristics which provide an unparalleled opportunity to hone your emotional intelligence, discipline, and team skills. They are all unique, yet they instinctively invest themselves in a team structure for survival. They communicate without mixed signals and respond the same way.  Horses live entirely in the present, and their feedback to you is both immediate and unerring. Like your workforce, horses are capable of high performance and deep commitment; they are similarly susceptible to erratic results and mental disengagement. At Itancan, we help you see, feel, and practice the leadership behaviors which create the performance you seek.

Teaching a young horse a more difficult skill!

If you are intent on exploring the deep connections between leaders and their people, between relationships and performance; if you are intent on building a team which is innovative, disciplined, committed, and motivated, consider standing in the Itancan Roundpen. With your team, learn to go together where you can’t go separately.
